ANA+versary

Today is my 3-year work anniversary.

Originally, I had lots to say. About how much I have changed. Grown. Learned. How I am still learning. My day of mixed clients I had from the beginning with clients I acquired over time. The memories. How I started this job remotely in the midst of a pandemic when my life was thrown into chaos. How my life is still chaos. How I somehow remember this day every year and my retail work anniversary (I no longer work at the retail place) yet not the anniversaries from my previous two music therapy jobs with the most longevity. I do remember my first ever day in Clinton, Massachusetts, however. 12.12.12. How certain dates and numbers just stay with me. In my mind and in the very fiber of my being.

I am exhausted after a long day of work and a long week of tests and appointments and yet I remain incredibly grateful. The best part of my being here in El Paso... is this job.
